Things to do since we’re all stuck at home

Let’s face it. Not being in class could lead to a lot of idle time, and honestly, it’s easy to run out of ideas of things to do. Luckily for you, The Panther has come up with a list of activities that are sure to keep you busy until we all can return to campus (hopefully.)

  • Trivia night at Chapman Brewery (for you 21 and older folk)

  • Pick up a hobby

    • Knitting, embroidery, baking are all good options

  • Do a puzzle, learn how to play chess, or bust out that Lego set you’ve kept since you were a kid

  • Start a blog

  • Adopt a cat

  • Download Rosetta Stone or get back in to Duolingo

  • Download TikTok

    • Learn a TikTok dance, go viral.

  • Rewatch your favorite TV series. “Gossip Girl,” “Gilmore Girls,” “The Crown,” “The West Wing.” So. Many. Options.

  • Watch “The Circle” on Netflix. It will teach you a thing or two about self-quarantine

  • Get back in to those nostalgic gaming apps like Candy Crush and Temple Run

  • Prioritize self-care

    • Face masks! Bubble baths!

  • Cook pasta

    • Make your own pasta

  • Make a pie and share it with your roommates

  • Watercolor and give the painting to your mom

  • Read all the “Harry Potter” books and then watch the movies

  • Learn to doodle

  • Call your grandparents!

  • Learn to code?

  • Listen to podcasts!

    • My Favorite Murder, Last Podcast, Just Break Up, The Daily. SO many to choose from

  • Get really good at ping pong

  • Revisit your imaginary friend from elementary school

  • Read The Panther
